 | I saw it aired yesterday in a local channel. I also remembered the artist there because he's in a Japanese decent too.
This one pulled it off. Beats Zaido's arse in shame. Haha! |
 | Lupet! Baeman. Sana makagawa ng ganito ang TV 5, di na ko naasa sa mga major channels na gumawa nito. |

However, the point, ' b) mas may pera ang mga clients kaysa sa mga tv station producers? ' is not justifiable since TV networks get their money from clients like these as well. Not just a few but lots of 'em. So I don't get the point of downgrading the quality of the TV Series just to show a program in the crowd which are not totally DECENT. Chicken brainer kind of shows, I tell you.
LOL! Though seriously, in Japan, the TVCs aren't that hi quality. Some of them doesn't have a proper storyline too. There's this one PV (TVC term for Japan) where the artist just smiled and holds the product. End of TVC. I just LOL'd. Hahaha! Philippine TVCs are something I'm very proud of. Really. |
Being a visual effects artist myself, and having worked for TV before, here's the deal:
The usual fantaserye schedule goes something like this: 1. Shoot today 2. Send to post-prod tonight 3. Show it tomorrow. Or, if you're lucky, next week.
Given that kind of sked, mahirap umasa ng magandang effects. The funny thing is, kakaunti lang ang TV series dito na nagsu-shoot in advance (case in point, the new Jericho Rosales one) like the foreign shows (Heroes shoots 3 months in advance, Smallville 2 months).
The thing is, more time spent for post-prod=more expenses. Same problem with local fantasy/sci-fi movies (though Resiklo has to be lauded for a record-breaking 4 months for their 3d stuff, which should have been a year at least).
For TV commercials, you only have to worry about 30 seconds (or less) so even if you work on it for one week you'll end up with a good product, ad agency corrections notwithstanding...which are always a bitch for people like me. haha. Plus of course, they pay really well. :p
So in the end, it's More money=More time for post prod=nice effects.
Having said all that, I thought Bakeman was AWESOME! Concept pa lang pati shots, panalo na! |
 | me bagong air time nanaman si Sato lol.
yeah maganda ang mga commercials natin here - doon kasi sa Japan sa sobrang daming gustong mag-advertise sa primetime, kelangan maikli at simple o maikli pero me shock factor para pansin agad. Di tulad sa ibang bansa like the Bill Gates/Jerry Seinfield Microsoft commercial - they have money to waste for a senseless commercial. |
